Service Overview

Essential information about
the apostille service we offer

How much will it cost?

We charge £75 per document plus delivery. Please try out our very simple Order Now page to calculate your total order cost.

Why should I choose you?

With over a decade of experience providing apostille services, we're a next-day legalisation service provider officially approved by the FCDO.

What is a next-day legalisation service?

It means your documents will be legalised with an apostille the next working day after we deliver them to the FCDO legalisation office in the beautiful countryside near Milton Keynes.

Will I always get my documents the next day?

Sadly not. To ensure our service provides good value for money we schedule a single weekly trip to FCDO. Generally that means documents are ready on Wednesday afternoons.

Is it a next day guarantee?

We can't guarantee our service as it may be affected by a number of factors (e.g. traffic, weather, bank holidays, etc.) but we believe our offer provides good value in a timely manner.

What if I need the urgent or same day service?

Generally FCDO discourage this since they closed their dedicated same-day desk in 2023. Since every document requires justification for the urgent service, we regret we can't accept these orders.

Do you offer an electronic apostille service?

No we don't offer the e-Apostille. If you need this service we recommend you apply directly on the FCDO website.

Can you certify my documents?

Sorry, no. Your documents must already be certified when we receive them. We do not offer any document services other than FCDO apostille, scanning and delivery.

Prepare Documents

Be sure your documents are ready
to be legalised before starting

How do I prepare my documents?

Just make sure they're issued by a UK government body and signed by a public official, or that they're certified by a registered official - a UK solicitor or notary public.

How do I certify my documents?

Your best bet is to contact a local solicitor or notary public who will be able to help. FCDO will accept their certification if they:

  • have a valid practising certificate
  • sign the document in the UK
  • state the action they have taken, e.g. witnessed / certified a copy / confirmed as original
  • use their personal signature, not a company signature
  • include the date of certification
  • include their name and company address
What documents can be legalised?

Please use our helpful Document Check or refer to official FCDO guidance on what types of documents are accepted.

What if my original document is not accepted?

Some documents such as passports and driving licences are not eligible to receive an apostille. A local solicitor or notary public will be able to issue a certified copy to use instead.

Are my documents issued by a recognised body?

Please refer to the gov.uk guidance to check if your documents have been issued by a recognised or accredited body.

Is my document valid to use abroad or overseas?

If you need your document legalised for use in another country outside the UK you will need to check directly with the embassy or consulate of that country.

Why is extra information required by FCDO?

If your document has been signed by a medical practitioner, a Minister of Religion or an Authorised Person then FCDO may need to contact them to verify their signature. Failure to do so can delay your order.
